I've seen that problem a couple of times, but I don't know hte answer. It has sumfn to do with the skn style file. But as u use the same skin, I have no clue why the countdown isn't show. I tried and edite the non-boxed version, but can't get it to work properly.

Found the problem......if ur site runs blocks with javascripts...it can give problems. Just try and deactivate your shoutblock.....I'm sure the countdown will work. Smile

ok there seems to be a few peeps with this problem so here is how i solved it

i have a shout box running with a javascript so my count down would not work

i opened the shout box javascript file and at the top it says

function allonloads(){
SBpopulate();

direct under this type

getVWarTime();

so it will look like this

function allonloads(){
SBpopulate();
getVWarTime();

take note of the caps, you must type it exactly as it is shown here.
don't worry if you don't have a shout box it can be added to any java
just open the javascript file you are using and type the above the same, place it at the very top of the file, save the javasrcript file and re upload to you site.

hope this helps guys if you need anymore assistance let me know either PM or post on the forums here

regards

maj_iceman Smile p.s tdx-sniper i have been to you teamspeak not seen you there yet, but here it is if you need anything else let me know.

After a little investigation I found out today that my webhost doesnt support Java sad

This is the reason why the countdown doesnt display on my website....

Is there any way the java part of the block can be written in a different language?

Im not too impressed with my web host as I have just paid for another 6 months.

This could be another reason why the countdown doesnt work on other peoples web sites.

If maj_icemans solution doesnt work then check with your webhost.

Thanks

Weird.

But I cannot use any form of Javascript as it does not work on the site.

What is even weirder is I once used Linux to view my site and it displayed ok! Maybe its MS explorer? But I can view your countdown !
